Rasvåg is located on the south side of the island and the other harbour, Kirkehamn, is located on the west side, about 4 kilometres away. Rasvåg is situated 3 km southwest of Launesåsen.

Kirkehamn is a fishing village in Flekkefjord Municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is one of two harbours on the Norwegian island Hidra. Kirkehamn lies on the west end of the island, while the other harbour, Rasvåg lies on the south side of the island. Hidra Church is located in the village. Kirkehamn is situated 4 km west of Launesåsen.
