The 1,622-metre tall mountain lies in the mountainous northeastern corner of the municipality, surrounded by the mountains Knoda, Kistenuten, Vassdalseggi, Fitjanuten, and Mælen. Trollaskeinuten is situated 3½ km east of Klanken.
