Os or Os i Østerdalen is the administrative centre of Os Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located along the upper part of the river Glåma, about 15 kilometres northeast of the village of Tolga and about 12 kilometres southwest of the town of Røros. Os i Østerdalen is situated 3 km southwest of Nybakk.

Røros is a town in Norway and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List under the name Røros Mining Town and the Circumference. Røros was established in the 1600s because of that copper mine that was in operation for more than 300 years.
