Ålesund Airport, or alternatively Ålesund Vigra Airport, is an international airport serving the town of Ålesund in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the island of Vigra in Giske Municipality and features a 2,314-meter runway aligned 07/25. Ålesund Airport, Vigra is situated 3 km southeast of Grøtet.

The Rørvikvågen Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the west side of Vigra island in Giske Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The area received protection in 1988 "to preserve an important wetland area with its habitat, bird life and other wildlife," according to the conservation regulations.
