Tal-y-llyn Lake, also known as Talyllyn Lake and Llyn Myngul, is a large glacial ribbon lake in Gwynedd, North Wales. It is formed by a post-glacial massive landslip damming up the lake within the glaciated valley.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Corris is a small village in the hills of Gwynedd, on the border with Powys. In the 19th century it was a slate-mining town and has many remnants of those times, especially the narrow-gauge railway, which has been restored.

It is located in the foothills of Cadair Idris, and has a population of 402, reducing to 339 at the 2011 Census. Llanfihangel-y-Pennant is situated 3 miles west of Tal-y-llyn Lake.
