Port Wentworth is a city in Coastal Georgia. Mary Mulgrove, the primary interpreter between James Oglethorpe and the Yamacraws during the settling of Savannah, lived here with her husband John, and actually so did Nathaniel Greene on a plantation called Mulberry Grove along with a distinguished tutor named Eli Whitney who would invent the cotton gin.Garden City
