Arbat District

Arbat District is a district of of the federal city of , Russia. Population: 28,179 ; 25,699 . The district extends from central Mokhovaya Street west to Novoarbatsky Bridge over the Moskva River.

Theater building
The is a historic opera house in , , originally designed by architect Joseph Bové. Before the October Revolution it was a part of the Imperial Theatres of the Russian Empire along with Maly Theatre in Moscow and a few theatres in Saint Petersburg.

The is one of the three national libraries of , located in . It is the largest library in the country, second largest in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

The , also known as the Tsarsky Kolokol, Tsar Kolokol III, or Royal Bell, is a 6.14-metre-tall, 6.6-metre-diameter bell on display on the grounds of the Moscow Kremlin.
