Hassan’s Tower

Hassan Tower or Tour Hassan; is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat, Morocco. It was commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third caliph of the Almohad Caliphate, near the end of the 12th century. Hassan’s Tower is situated 600 metres north of Mercure Rabat Sheherazade.

The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is a mausoleum located across from the Hassan Tower in Rabat, Morocco. It contains the tombs of the Moroccan king Mohammed V and his two sons, late King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. Mausoleum of Mohammed V is situated 460 metres north of Mercure Rabat Sheherazade.

The Museum of History and Civilizations is a national archaeological museum in Rabat, capital of Morocco. Open since 1932, its known for holding the most extensive collection of archaeological artefacts found in the kingdom, most notably a bust of the famous Amazigh king Juba II. Rabat Archaeological Museum is situated 1 km southwest of Mercure Rabat Sheherazade.
