Pernety is a station on line Line 13 of the Paris Métro in the 14th arrondissement. It is named after the nearby rue Pernety, named after Viscount Joseph Marie de Pernety, one of Napoleon's generals and owned the land where the street was built. Pernety station is situated 190 metres northeast of La Maison Montparnasse.

Tour Maine-Montparnasse, also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre office skyscraper in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011, when it was surpassed by the 231-metre Tour First in the La Défense business district west of Paris's city limits. Montparnasse Tower is situated 1¼ km north of La Maison Montparnasse.
