Fahy is a small village in County Mayo, Ireland. It is approximately 7 kilometres north of Westport and has a national school and Montessori school. The local Catholic church is, together with Kilmeena, in the ecclesiastical parish of Kilmeena-Fahy. Fahy is situated 4 km south of Clooneshil.

Islandeady is a village in County Mayo, Ireland, about halfway between the towns of Castlebar and Westport. The parish of Islandeady meets Castlebar to the east, Westport and Newport to the west, and Aughagower and Killawalla to the south. Islandeady is situated 9 km southeast of Clooneshil.

Westport is an attractive town in County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland, with a population of 6,900 in 2022. It was originally Cathair na Mart, "town of the beef cattle", a cattle-mart and trading port in an era when it was much easier to get around by sea than overland.
