One of the most important Italian museums and the most visited, it is also one of the largest and best-known in the world and holds a collection of priceless works, particularly from the period of the Italian Renaissance.

Piazza della Signoria is a W-shaped square in front of the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Central Italy. It was named after the Palazzo della Signoria, also called Palazzo Vecchio. Piazza della Signoria is situated 170 metres north of De Castellani.

Museo Galileo is located in Florence, Italy, in Piazza dei Giudici, along the River Arno and close to the Uffizi Gallery. The museum, dedicated to astronomer and scientist Galileo Galilei, is housed in Palazzo Castellani, an 11th-century building which was then known as the Castello d'Altafronte.
