Locality
Búðir is a small hamlet in Búðahraun lava fields in Staðarsveit, which is in the western region of Iceland, on the westernmost tip of the Snaefellsnes peninsula where Hraunhafnará falls to the sea, the original old name of Búðir having been Hraunhöfn. Búðir is situated 5 km east of Selvellir.
Arnarstapi
Arnarstapi, often called Stapi, is a small fishing and tourism village on the southern coast of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in West Iceland. It lies beneath the distinctive mountain Stapafell, close to Snæfellsjökull National Park, and is best known for its basalt sea cliffs, natural rock arches, seabird colonies and coastal walking trail to Hellnar.
