Mynydd Graig Goch is the western end peak of the Nantlle Ridge, and is a subsidiary summit of Craig Cwm Silyn. It is also the most westerly 2000 ft peak in Wales. Mynydd Graig Goch is situated 1½ miles southeast of Nebo.

Penygroes' population stands at 1,793 at the 2011 census, of which 88% are Welsh-speaking, making it one of the most predominantly Welsh-speaking areas of the country. Penygroes is situated 1½ miles north of Nebo.
