Dorothea quarry is a disused slate quarry in the Nantlle Valley area in North Wales. It covers a large area near the village of Talysarn and contains three flooded deep lakes.

Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd is a peak on the Nantlle Ridge in Snowdonia, north Wales. It is located at the centre of the ridge, and is a subsidiary summit of Trum y Ddysgl. Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd is situated 1½ miles southeast of Llyn Nantlle Uchaf.
