Kato Paphos Castle

Paphos Castle is located at the western end of the city port. It was originally a Byzantine fortress built to protect the port. Today, the visitor can see the Western Frankish Tower with the Venetian additions as restored by the Ottomans in 1592, according to a relevant inscription above the entrance of the castle. Kato Paphos Castle is situated 2½ km northwest of Sentido Cypria Bay.

Geroskipou is a coastal village and municipal district in the Paphos District of Cyprus. Its current population is approximately 7,000. It is noted for the production of lokum, a confectionery commonly known as Turkish delight in English, and is the only place in the world with protected geographical indication for lokum. Geroskipou Municipality is situated 3 km northeast of Sentido Cypria Bay.
