The Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque, also known as the Aksaray Valide Mosque, is a grand Ottoman imperial mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. It is located at the intersection of Ordu Street and Atatürk Boulevard in the Aksaray neighborhood beside the Pertevniyal High School which was also built by the order of Sultana Pertevniyal in 1872. Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque is situated 400 metres northeast of Day Light.

The Murat Pasha Mosque is a 15th century Ottoman mosque squeezed in between two busy roads linking Aksaray and Yusufpaşa in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Turkey. Murat Pasha Mosque is situated 240 metres north of Day Light.

The Column of Arcadius was a Roman triumphal column in the forum of Arcadius in Constantinople built in the early 5th century AD. The marble column was historiated with a spiralling frieze of reliefs on its shaft and supported a colossal statue of the emperor, probably made of bronze, which fell down in 740. Column of Arcadius is situated 490 metres west of Day Light.
