Under present local level structure it is located between Ward No 5 and 9 of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, Okhaldhunga District. Kosh Bhanjyang is situated 7 km southwest of Kul Kholā.

Okhaldhunga is the headquarters of the Okhaldhunga District in the Sagarmatha Zone of Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3761 living in 790 individual households. Okhaldhunga is situated 8 km southeast of Kul Kholā.
