Charkhari is a city in Mahoba district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was the capital of the Charkhari concession. The state was founded in 1765 by Bijai Bahadur, a Rajput of Bundela clan. Charkhari is situated 8 km west of Bamhauriā Tāl.
