The Martand Sun Temple is a Hindu temple located in Mattan, in the Anantnag district of the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It dates back to the eighth century CE and was dedicated to Surya, the solar deity of Hinduism; Surya is also known by the Sanskrit-language synonym Martand.

Achabal is an important tourist town about 8.1km away from Anantnag, and is notable for a Mughal garden called Achabal Gardens, holding an ancient spring surrounded by a terraced landscape developed by the Mughals. Achabal is situated 8 km south of Tsrälnār.
