Foxtail Peak
Peak
Foxtail Peak is a peak, 455 metres high, on the north side of Neumayer Glacier, 2 nautical miles west of Carlita Bay, South Georgia. It was charted by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition, 1901–04, under Otto Nordenskiöld. Foxtail Peak is situated 4 km west of Islet Point.

Husvik is a former whaling station on the north-central coast of South Georgia Island. It was one of three such stations in Stromness Bay, the other two being Stromness and Leith Harbour. Husvik is situated 8 km northwest of Islet Point.

Grytviken is a former whaling station on South Georgia Island. It was founded in 1904 as it had the best harbour on this storm-wracked island, with flat ice-free terrain and a fresh water supply.
