Gadag
Gadag is a city in the Gadag District of northern Karnataka, India. It is one of India's great overlooked temple towns: a cluster of 11th–12th century monuments built in the distinctive ornate "Gadag style" of the Western Chalukya empire, combined with a literary claim to fame as the place where the Kannada poet Kumara Vyasa is said to have composed his celebrated retelling of the Mahabharata.Beladhadi
