Tirur railway station is an NSG–3 category Indian railway station in Palakkad railway division of Southern Railway zone. It is the oldest railway station in Kerala. Tirur railway station is situated 3 km west of Kandalur.

Tirur is a town in Malappuram District, in the Malabar region of Kerala, in India. The town is 43 km south of Kozhikode. It is a major trading centre of fish and betel, and is known as the birthplace of the poet Thunchath Ezhuthachan.
