Uri is a town in the Baramula District of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The river Jhelum flows through Uri. The town is very close to the LOC, the disputed border between India and Pakistan.

Chakothi is a village on the borderline of Pakistan and India, in the Hattian Bala District of Azad Kashmir. It is located 52 kilometers from Muzaffarabad, near the Line of Control on the banks of the Jhelum River. Chakothi is situated 8 km west of Chhapra.
