Davelis Cave, also known as the Cave of Penteli, is a cave on the southwestern slope of Mount Penteli, northeast of Athens. It received its modern nickname, "the cave of Davelis", because of a popular association with the 19th-century brigand Christos Davelis. Davelis Cave is situated 3 km south of Ágios Loukás.

Icaria or Ikaria, also known as Icarium or Ikarion, was a deme of ancient Attica on the northeastern slopes of Mount Pentelikon. It holds pride of place due to its prominence in Greek mythology as the place where Icarius, or Ikarios received the god Dionysus, who taught him the art of making wine. Ruins of ancient theater of Icarion Aegeidas (Attica) is situated 3 km east of Ágios Loukás.
