Giannakides

Giannakides is a hamlet in Aegina, Piraeus Prefecture, Attica. Giannakides is situated nearby to the village Kylindras, as well as near the hamlet Alones.

Aegina

Aegina is one of the Saronic Gulf Islands, a triangle 11 km on each side. It's the closest island to Athens, reached in barely an hour by ferry, and in 2011 had a population of 13,056.

The Temple of Aphaia is an Ancient Greek temple located within a sanctuary complex dedicated to the goddess Aphaia on the island of Aegina, which lies in the Saronic Gulf. Temple of Aphaia is situated 3½ km northeast of Giannakides.

Portes is a Greek fishing village located on the east side of Aegina. It is about 28 km from the main town of Aegina. Behind the village is an agricultural plain with hills on the edges.
