Diomede is an incorporated city on the west coast of Little Diomede Island in the U.S. state of Alaska. Little Diomede Island is the smaller of the two Diomede Islands that are located in the middle of the Bering Strait; the larger of the two islands, Big Diomede Island, is part of Russia. Diomede is situated 9 km southeast of Knight Point.
