The Grand Chavalard is a mountain in the western part of the Bernese Alps in Valais, overlooking the Rhone at Fully near Martigny. The mountain is located close to the Dent de Morcles on the north-west. Grand Chavalard is situated 2½ km southwest of Petit Pré.

Ovronnaz is a French speaking village located in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It lies in the municipality of Leytron, close to Martigny. The village is located on the south side of the Bernese Alps, on a terrace above the Rhone river, at an altitude of 1,330 metres. Ovronnaz is situated 3 km east of Petit Pré.
