Paruyr Sevak is a village in the Ararat Municipality of the Ararat Province of Armenia. The village was founded in 1978 and is named in honour of the poet Paruyr Sevak. Paruyr Sevak is situated 3 km east of P’arakhadem.

Heydarabad is a settlement and the capital of the Sadarak District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. It borders Armenia and before the First Nagorno-Karabakh War had road and rail connections with the Armenian village of Yeraskh on the other side of the border. Heydarabad is situated 5 km southwest of P’arakhadem.
