The Arshakid Kings Mausoleum and Basilica is a grave monument complex that sits along a gorge overlooking the Amberd River, and is located in the center of the village of Aghtsk in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. Arshakuni Buriap Vryptat at aghtsk 4th century is situated 1¼ km south of Tegher.

The Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory, or Byurakan Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the Armenian Academy of Sciences. It is located on the slope of Mount Aragats in the village of Byurakan in Armenia. Byurakan astrophysic observatory is situated 1½ km east of Tegher.

Tegher Monastery is situated 2½ km northwest of Tegher.
