Pinjarra is a town in the Peel region of Western Australia along the South Western Highway, 82 kilometres from the state capital, Perth and 21 kilometres south-east of the coastal city of Mandurah. Pinjarra is situated 6 km north of Blythewood.

Coolup is home to the proposed new multimillion-dollar Murray Region Equestrian Centre, whose construction is in the initial stages of development. Coolup is situated 7 km south of Blythewood.
