Danao, officially the Municipality of Danao, is a municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 20,245 people. Danao celebrates its fiesta on December 30, to honor the town patron the Holy Family. Danao is situated 7 km south of San Carlos.
