Ambalavayal is a town in Wayanad district in the state of Kerala, India. The Wayanad Heritage Museum is located in the village. The village is home to St. George Orthodox Church, part of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Ambalavayal is situated 4½ km south of Pathiri.
