Bakong is the earliest sandstone temple mountain constructed under the Khmer Empire located at Angkor, near present-day Siem Reap in Cambodia. Built in the late ninth century CE, it served as the official state temple of king Indravarman I within the capital city of Hariharalaya, today known as Roluos. Bakong is situated 3 km northeast of Phum Prâhut.
Prei Monti Temple
Prasat Prei Monti is an early Angkorian site in the Roluos group of monuments near Siem Reap, Cambodia. Archaeological evidence identifies it as the royal palace precinct of Hariharālaya, the first Angkorian capital under King Indravarman I.Phum Prâhut
