La Désirade is a commune in the French overseas region and department of Guadeloupe, in the Lesser Antilles. The commune of La Désirade is made up of the island of La Désirade and the uninhabited Petite Terre Islands located about 10 kilometres south of it. La Désirade is situated 4 km southwest of Jardin Agnias.

La Désirade National Nature Reserve is a reserve in Désirade Island in Guadeloupe. Established under the Ministerial Decree No. 2011-853 of 19 July 2011 for its special geological features it has an area of 62 ha. La Désirade National Nature Reserve is situated 3½ km east of Jardin Agnias.
