The Abbey of Saint Gall is a dissolved abbey in a Catholic religious complex in the city of in . The Carolingian-era monastery existed from 719, founded by Saint Othmar on the spot where Saint Gall had erected his hermitage.

In 1983, the library, as well as the Abbey of St Gall, were designated a World Heritage Site, as "an outstanding example of a large Carolingian monastery and was, since the 8th century until its secularisation in 1805, one of the most important cultural centres in Europe". is situated 120 metres southwest of Abbey of Saint Gall.
