Jagannath Temple

Jagannath Temple is a Hindu temple in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India's 17th-century temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath. The temple stands atop a hillock approximately 10 kilometres from the main town and is accessible by both a staircase and a motorable path.

Ranchi was the centre of the Jharkhand movement, which called for a separate state for the tribal regions of South Bihar, northern Odisha, western West Bengal and the eastern area of what is present-day Chhattisgarh.
