Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal

Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal is a palace located 2 km to the southeast of the Meenakshi Amman Temple in central Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was built by Tirumala Nayaka, a king of the Madurai Nayak dynasty who ruled Madurai from 1623 to 1659, and was completed in 1636. Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal is situated 760 metres southeast of Minākshi Kovil.

The Kazimar Big Mosque, also known as the Kazimar Periya Pallivasal, is a Sufi Hanafi mosque in Madurai city, in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. The mosque was constructed in 683 AH and is the oldest mosque in the city. Kazimar Big Mosque is situated 1 km southwest of Minākshi Kovil.
