Kato Paphos Castle

Paphos Castle is located at the western end of the port of Paphos and dates to the mid-13th century. The castle's original structure was built after the earthquake of 1222 destroyed Saranta Kolones, an earlier fortress about 600 metres north-east. Kato Paphos Castle is situated 180 metres southwest of Port Paphos.

Saranta Kolones is a ruined medieval fortress on the island of Cyprus, near the city of Paphos. It takes its name from the large number of granite columns that were found on the site and probably once formed part of the ancient agora. Saranta Kolones is situated 350 metres north of Port Paphos.

Geroskipou is a coastal village and municipal district in the Paphos District of Cyprus. Its current population is approximately 7,000. It is noted for the production of lokum, a confectionery commonly known as Turkish delight in English, and is the only place in the world with protected geographical indication for lokum. Geroskipou Municipality is situated 4 km east of Port Paphos.
