Berlin Peace Column

The Peace Column is a column located in Mehringplatz in Berlin, Germany. Designed by Christian Gottlieb Cantian and erected in 1843, the 19-meter column is topped with a brass statue of Victoria, goddess of victory, designed by Christian Daniel Rauch.
Jewish Museum Berlin

On 3,500 square metres of floor space, the museum presents the history of the Jews in Germany from the Middle Ages to the present day, with new focuses and new scenography. Checkpoint Charlie

Checkpoint Charlie was the Western Bloc's name for the best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War, becoming a symbol of the Cold War, representing the separation of East and West. Checkpoint Charlie is situated 1 km north of Mehringplatz.
