The Musée historique de Villèle is one of the major museums on Reunion Island, a French overseas department in the Indian Ocean. Located in the highlands of Saint-Paul at a site known as Villèle, it is housed in the former Desbassayns estate—a vast colonial plantation where Madame Desbassayns lived.
