Nuri is a place in modern Sudan on the west side of the Nile, near the Fourth Cataract. Nuri is situated about 15 km north of Sanam, and 10 km from Jebel Barkal. Nuri is situated 3 km west of Nuri.

Karima is a town in Northern State in Sudan some 400 km from Khartoum on a loop of the Nile. Karima houses the Jebel Barkal Museum. The hill of Jebel Barkal is near Karima. Karima is situated 8 km west of Nuri.
