Vavřinec

Vavřinec is a municipality and village in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 900 inhabitants. Vavřinec lies approximately 7 kilometres north-east of Blansko, 24 km north of Brno, and 182 km south-east of Prague.

Amatérská Cave is part of the longest cave system in Moravia, Czech Republic. It is also famous for archaeological discoveries. Except for the entrance, the cave is not accessible to the public, although occasionally it is opened for visitors.
