Iavoloha Palace

Iavoloha Palace is the official residence of the President of Madagascar. It is situated 15 km to the south from the capital Antananarivo. Iavoloha was modeled on the Rova of Antananarivo and was built by North Korea in the 1970s for free. Iavoloha Palace is situated 4½ km south of Andafiatsimo Mijoro.

The Rova of Antananarivo is a royal palace complex in Madagascar that served as the home of the sovereigns of the Kingdom of Imerina in the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as of the rulers of the Kingdom of Madagascar in the 19th century.
