Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition

The Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition is a Georgian Orthodox cathedral located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Following a medieval Georgian tradition of naming churches after specific places in the Holy Land, the Sioni Cathedral bears the name of Mount Zion at Jerusalem. Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition is situated 180 metres south of Bridge of Peace.

Kartvlis Deda is a monument in Georgia's capital Tbilisi. The statue was erected on the top of Sololaki hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Mother of Kartli is situated 600 metres southwest of Bridge of Peace.
