The Great Synagogue, also known as the Georgian Synagogue, is a synagogue, located at 45-47 Kote Afkhazi Street in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Built between 1904 and 1911, it is the largest synagogue in the country and serves as the central house of worship for the city’s Jewish community. The Great Synagogue is situated 150 metres south of Sioni Cathedral of the Dormition.
