Lavizzara is a municipality in the district of Vallemaggia in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It is the only municipality in the valley. The municipality was created in 2004 by a merger of Broglio, Brontallo, Fusio, Menzonio, Peccia and Prato-Sornico. Lavizzara is situated 4 km east of Raiada.
