It is served by the FrontRunner, Utah Transit Authority's commuter rail train, the Ogden Express, a UTA bus rapid transit service, as well as UTA local and commuter bus service, and Greyhound Lines long-distance bus service. Ogden Central station is situated 1,200 feet north of Union Station.

The Ogden/Weber Municipal Building, at 2541 Washington Blvd. in Ogden, Utah, was built in 1938–1940. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Ogden/Weber Municipal Building is situated 2,400 feet east of Union Station.
