Barking Riverside is a railway station in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, East London. The eastern terminus of the Suffragette line of the London Overground, the station serves the Barking Riverside regeneration area and was built as part of a £327m extension of the Gospel Oak to Barking line.

Thamesmead is an area of south-east London, England, straddling the border between the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Bexley. It is located 11 miles east of Charing Cross, north-east of Woolwich and west of Belvedere. It mainly consists of social housing built from the mid-1960s onwards on former marshland on the south bank of the River Thames. Thamesmead is situated 1½ miles south of Thames.
