Ballyheigue Castle

Ballyheigue Castle, in Ballyheigue, County Kerry, is a ruined Tudor-gothic-revival-style mansion. It was used as a residence of the Crosbie family and later as a jail. It has been burned twice. It is currently part of a golf course. Ballyheigue Castle is situated 3½ km south of Glandahalin East.

Ballyheigue, officially Ballyheige, is a coastal town and civil parish in County Kerry, Ireland. It is 18 km northwest of Tralee along the R551 road. It is a scenic locale which forms part of the Wild Atlantic Way and has several miles of beaches that connect to Banna Strand to the south, and Kerry Head to the north. Ballyheige is situated 4 km south of Glandahalin East.
