The Tien Shan Astronomical Observatory is an astronomical observatory located in the Tien Shan Mountains at 2,800 meters altitude, 30 kilometers south of the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan. Tien-Shan astronomical observatory is situated 2½ km south of Kokshoky.
